The mission of LymeMD is to promote research and the dissemination of knowledge about Lyme disease and does not include providing medical advice or addressing an individual’s specific questions. An all-volunteer staff, that does not have the training or expertise to provide such advice or answer specific questions, runs our site. We are sorry that we are unable to respond to such requests; but researching our site and other sites on the Internet may provide the answers to many of your questions. We also encourage you to contact your primary medical provider, local health department, or regional referral medical center for answers to your medically related questions, or for a list of lyme disease specialists in your area.
